Fabrication Shop
Our fabrication shop provides pre-fabrication and installation of vessel sub-assemblies and custom work through shearing, rolling, CNC burning table and U.S.C.G. and ABS classification societies certified welders.
Machine Shop
Service personnel include both inside and outside machinists, riggers, and diesel mechanics. Equipment and capabilities feature lathes up to 27 ft. between centers, portable boring bar equipment, molecular steel repairs, rebuilding of all types of machinery and deck equipment.
Paint Shop
Services Include: high pressure water and sand blasting, sand vacuum system for efficient grit removal, and floating, self-contained blasting and coatings barge. Interior/exterior surface preparation meets SSPC/NACE sandblasting standards.
Pipe Shop
Services Include: custom pipe fabrication, on-board pipe installations, alterations or renewals, pre- fabrication of pipe sections, and pipe bending, fitting and testing.
Electrical Shop
Services Include: Electrical trouble shooting, Baking and rewinding of motors, inspections and repairs by licensed marine electricians and troubleshooters.
Rigging Ship
GSR is very familiar with the complex issue of getting equipment off and on vessels, sometimes even the vessel it self.
